The very famous man known as the \”Father of Containerization\” has done a lot of effort to bring his idea into action. He was the man with very different ideas in concerned with the transport of goods. He wanted to remove the steps which include loading the goods from one place and unloading them at the destination. So he used many options, firstly he used to load the trucks with goods on ship so that they could reach near to the destination point, without much hassle. But the ship owners later protested this idea of his, but the man was not at all ready to accept it calmly, so he decided to become a ship owner himself so that he could accomplish his ideas. That great man was- Malcolm P. McLean

He was successful completely in 26th April 1956, in this date there were a ship carrying fifty-eight containers lest from Newark to Houston. Then many countries like Japan, Europe also adopted this very idea. The standards which were followed to transport the containers were the American standards. But later some countries faced difficulty to follow the American standards so they decided over to adopt the ISO Standards.
